I am in the best mood right now!!! I dunno why I seem to be on top of the world! A freind whom I thought I had lost recently started talking to me it was sunny for three days this week, and I just feel good about life! So does ne one here beleive what fortune cookies say becuase I do now becuase I got one that said the dark times are over and I will now find hapiness and that exact thing did happen. In my com class today I heard a class mate speak who happens to be a professional motivational speaker. I think that might atribute to my good mood. I can't really explain but I just have to say I am doing GREAT!
Smith-OUT!

Its been a while....... I have been incredibly busy this week with school and of course the Community of Excellence bid. For those of you who don't know what that is your lucky! I think I spent close to 10 hours on the bid personally and I am just kinda burnt out. The end of the year is getting closer and closer and every can't wait to get out of here but I definatly can! I do not want this experience to come to an end. I wish I could go back to the begining of the year and do it all over! Not that I dislike home or anything its just a totally different life style. It seems as if everyone is in a hurry to be done with school and get on with life. But to me this is life and I want everything I can get out of it! I really think I want to try and find something I will enjoy doing this summer. Like live somewhere else than home and work. I want to experience things that arn't normal to me. Step outside of my comfort zone. This is the time in my life where I need to take advantage of every oppertunity I get and I have not been doing that. I would definatly like to create new oppertunities for myself this summer. Well thats it for now.
Smith-OUT!

Now that we have had spring break away from school at home I think we need to have a spring break here! All in favor raise your hands! I mean it would be cool to not have any classes this week and be able to hang out all week with all of our great friends here at GVSU! It would be a lot of fun in my opinion. I also would like to request that we all pretend like its the first week of school again. We all could step outside of our now formed cliques and just have fun with everyone. Wouldn't that be just awesome! I wish that we could have that but I guess back to reality tomarrow!
Smith-Out

HAHA so it is spring break and I have been having sooo much fun!!!! I got home yesterday at like 3ish and I was ready for some crazy fun so I cleaned the whole middle floor!!! If thats not a rockin good I don't know what is! After that I ate dinner with the fam wich was good becuase my mother is probably the best cook to ever live. She whipped up 2 roasted chickens, twice baked potatoes, green beans, cinomin raisin bread, and a madarin orange salad. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. So to continue with how much fun I am having I went to Block buster rented a couple movies and watched those. I woke up this morning at like 12:30ish had a little lunch went to my parents health club with them and played basketball by myself for about 45 minutes and sat in the hot tub for a while. I then came home and laid on the couch and fell asleep for a while. Then I ate some dinner watched american idol then watched Rocky II. So now I am on the computer having an even more rocking good time!!! Tomarrow I will go on a feild trip with my mothers class becuase she asked me to so I have to get up at 8 AM!!!! I don't even do that at school LOL! So those are my rocking huge plans for this spring break!!!!
Smith-OUT!

So I have to come a relization that I am being replaced by person #4......It had to come sooner or later. This hit me when suzy and karen decided to go to dinner instead of watching gilmore girls with person number 4, who coincidently lives in our hall. I had the privilage to meet her at dinnner a couple nights ago and I am not mad, I kinda feel like guys on the replacements the movie. HAHAHA JK I am exciting for suzy, karen, and kelsey getting a good one plus I will get to live across the hall from them anyways right girls? So I have realized that suzy kelsey and I need to have a what do U call them.......intervention for keren becuase of her drug usage as reflected in our secret handshake. Also on a karen note I heard from sources that Karl is heartbroken becuase of some sort of lap incident? Also everyone should ask suzy for her stylist becuase DAMN her hair was awesome tonight!!!!
Smith-Out!

RHA tonight was surprisingly bareable....I have been keepin busy with things lately. I called home the other night and thought I got the wrong number becuase a weird girl voice answered the phone and I was confused until I realized that it was our semi-new german exchange student. Ne ways karen was a little dissappointed and I had to console her. By consoleing I mean she cried on my shoulder for hours. Why? Well she feels that things with her and Karl aren't going that well. she did not get to see him as much as she would have liked today becuase he was a little late. I told her not to worry and karl has many important things to do and she just needed to understand that. I said it was a good sign that karl took the time to find a seat by her. Next I would like to say I have a new quest in life. It is to find a nut. LOL U know what I mean. Its everyones would I am just a squirrell tryin to find a nut! I know that if you have met her you obviously think she is an awesome girl and frankly is probably one of the funniest people on this planet. She is very well liked by everyone and rightfully so! I think that espeically on tuesday nights from approximately 9-11 pm she is an all star. standing up and giving CC reports, passing notes, and open mouth staring are just a few of the qualities which she displays. I would next like to welcome anyone to please comment if you like her. tell me stories reason why, just anything you can.
Again this morning I was abruptly woken up by the pounding on my door from one miss Suzanne Marie Hall. I was up untill 5:30 for no reason just layin there joel came back really late from his party but I was still up so it didn't bother me. I got me ears lowered today and everytime I do that it makes me feel better for some reason. I did laundry and I have named myself the king of laundry becuase I did what for most normal people would be 6 loads of laundry in three loads. So what if I had to get on top of the machine and jup on my dirt laundry to make it fit? Well everyone found out housing today. and our suspicions were confirmed. I am living across the hall from the hall twins (Pun intended) Man I am funny! and of coarse living with them will be kelsy and girl number 4. My question is what number is associated with karen suzy and kelsey then? who is numbers one two and three? This is an obvious problem which I beleive will end the team suzy dynasty if it is not addressed at the next team meeting!
Smith-OUT!

So, I woke up at 7:30 a.m. to go on a walk with my dog. I got the leash and everything ready for the walk when I realized that there was a problem......... I was wearing a short sleave shirt and it was snowing out! how could anyone expect to take their dog for a walk with a short sleave shirt on while its snowing. So I stood on my bed for about 45 minutes thinking of a solution to my problem then I decided to go back to sleep the dog can wait. I was ubruptly woken up at 11:45 ish to the loud knocking of one miss suzanne M. hall. THANX!!! GOSH.... anyways I decided to play a super joke on her and not answer the door. Man it was a good one. So we went shopping by we I mean me and my future roomates if I were a girl. They R currently looking for a replacement for me..... :( Anyways back to the story we went to the mall and they shopped for stuff for presidents ball. I decided that I would use my time wisely and go extremely escolator riding. I went on as many escolators as I could find. I love escolators and have decided to request funds from student sanate and RHA to see if we can get on installed in Seidman Living Center. So there is something in my life that has been bothering. There has been something missing lately. Avoid in my life that needs to be fulfilled. I have been missing it for soo long now. I need it soo badly and I think that everyone longs for it at some point in there life. So I have decided to start searching for......personal slurpee machines!!! I love slurpees soo much and beleive that no one should be denied what they love. So if we can't get personal slurpee machines I will also be lobbying for a machine on 2nd floor seidman! Well thats about all of my deep thoughts for now.
SMITH-OUT!

OK, SO I decided to fallow in suzy's footsteps and create a journal also. Also the fact that today hasn't been the best of days compells me to write about it. So today was kinda like D-day for me. I went to students services this morning and picked up my letter to be an RA and I got an alternate position which means I am like 2nd rate or if enough people drop out I get a position. I have been told that it is likely that I will end up being placed somewhere but I think it is just people trying to show sympathy or whatever. Oh well I am over it. Also I tried out for the pedro position in the RHA murder mystery dinner and I got an E-mail offering me an extra position at the dance. I e-mailed them back and declined I woul;d much rather go watch suzy play deb. To top it all off lets just say things with the family will be a little tight for a while money wise.....This is just not my morning but the sun will come up tomarrow. Everything tends to work itself out in the end. On a better note if U have ever wanted or would like to sit in a chair mad completely from phone books stop by room 211.
